Nine steps between a bolt of raw cloth and something you'll wear for a decade. Each one is a decision — and each decision is where quality lives.

  1. Step 01

    Fabric selection

    Japanese selvage denim, heavyweight cotton twills, chambray, and slub jersey — sourced from mills we've worked with for years.

  2. Step 02

    Pattern development

    Blocks refined on real bodies. Every fit passes through multiple prototypes before it earns a place in the line.

  3. Step 03

    Cutting

    Fabric relaxed for days, then laid, marked, and cut in short runs on our Los Angeles floor.

  4. Step 04

    Sewing & construction

    Union Special chainstitching, bar-tacked stress points, felled seams. Machines that predate us, still faster than anything new.

  5. Step 05

    Washing & finishing

    Rinsed, softened, or left raw. Every wash is worked out in-house, not delegated.

  6. Step 06

    Inspection

    Each garment is checked at the seam, the button, the fabric, and the label before it leaves the workshop.

  7. Step 07

    Hardware & details

    Solid brass shanks, copper rivets, custom shell buttons, woven labels stitched — never printed.

  8. Step 08

    The final garment

    Folded, tagged, and sent out. What arrives is what left the bench — no shortcuts along the way.

  9. Step 09

    Care & longevity

    We publish care instructions like recipes: how to wash, when not to, how to earn the fades.
